Privacy Policy
This privacy policy describes the ways in which inCTRL Solutions and its affiliates and subsidiaries (collectively, “we,” “our,” or “us”) collect, use, and disclose information about you through the inCTRL Solutions opsCTRL™ mobile application and web portal (collectively, the “Application”). By using the Application, you acknowledge and agree to the handling of your information as described in this privacy policy, as now and as may be amended from time to time.
What information do we collect?
Information You Provide – We and our service providers collect any information you provide when you use the Application, including when you create an account for yourself or other users, fill out a form, respond to a survey or communication, upload media or documentation to the application, or order a product or service. The information you provide us can include, but is not limited to, your name, email address, phone number, title or other details, and similar details about other users for whom you may create an account.
Information Automatically Collected From You – We and our service providers may automatically collect certain technical information from your computer or mobile device over time when you use the Application, such as your Internet Protocol address, your browser type, your operating system, search requests, search results, Application usage data, equipment data, and suggestions based on user actions. Some of this information may be collected through the use of “cookies.” Cookies are small files that a site or its service provider transfers to your computer’s hard drive through your Web browser (if you allow) that enables the site’s or service provider’s systems to recognize your browser and capture and remember certain information.
Precise Real-Time Location Information – The Application may collect precise information about the location of your mobile device, but only with your express consent. Once you have consented to the collection of the precise location of your mobile device, you may adjust this consent by managing your Location Services preferences through the settings of your mobile device.
How do we use your information?
We may use the information we collect from you in the following ways:
- to provide you with products, services, or information you request;
- to personalize your experience and to allow us to deliver the type of content and product offerings in which you are most interested;
- to respond to your customer service requests and to communicate with you regarding your account, orders, or use of the Application, including by live chat, email, or phone;
- to process your transactions;
- to deliver marketing communications, promotional materials, or advertisements that may be of interest to you;
- to allow us to improve the Application and the services we provide, such as by better tailoring our content to our users’ needs and preferences;
- to generate and analyze statistics about your use of the Application;
- to protect our rights, the integrity of the Application, or your safety or the safety of others; and
- to detect, prevent, or respond to fraud, intellectual property infringement, violations of our Terms of Use, violations of law, or other misuse of the Application.
We may also combine or aggregate any of the information we collect through the Application for any of these purposes.
How do we protect your information?
We do not use vulnerability scanning and/or scanning to PCI standards.
We only provide articles and information. We never ask for credit card numbers.
We use regular Malware Scanning.
Your personal information is contained behind secured networks and is only accessible by a limited number of persons who have special access rights to such systems, and are required to keep the information confidential. In addition, all sensitive/credit information you supply is encrypted via Secure Socket Layer (SSL) technology.
We implement a variety of security measures when a user enters, submits, or accesses their information to maintain the safety of your personal information.
All transactions are processed through a gateway provider and are not stored or processed on our servers.
How do we disclose your information?
Except as otherwise described in this privacy policy, we do not sell, trade, or other transfer to outside parties any personally identifiable information we collect through the Application unless we provide you with advance notice. Otherwise, we may disclose information we collect through the Application:
- to third parties that provide services to us in connection with our business operations that have agreed to keep the information confidential, including but not limited to third parties that assist us in operating the Application, provide order and payment processing services, or deliver communications to you;as required by law, such as to comply with a subpoena or other legal process, or to comply with government reporting obligations;when we believe in good faith that disclosure is necessary (a) to protect our rights, the integrity of the Application, or your safety or the safety of others, or (b) to detect, prevent, or respond to fraud, intellectual property infringement, violations of our Terms of Use, violations of law, or other misuse of the Application; andto service providers, advisors, potential transactional partners, or other third parties in connection with the consideration, negotiation, or completion of a corporate transaction in which we are acquired by or merged with another company or we sell, liquidate, or transfer all or a portion of our assets.
We may also provide non-personally identifiable information that we collect through the Application to third parties for marketing, advertising, or other uses.
Your choices
If you do not want the Application to collect information through the use of cookies, you can set your web browser to reject cookies from the Application. Each browser is different, so you should check your browser’s “Help” menu to learn how to change your cookie preferences. If you reject or block cookies from the Application, however, the Application may not function as intended.
If at any time you would like to unsubscribe from receiving future emails, you can email us at servicedesk@opsctrl.com. Alternatively, you may follow the instructions at the bottom of each email and we will promptly remove you from ALL correspondence.
If at anytime you would like your personal data to be deleted from opsCTRL and related systems, you can email us at servicedesk@opsctrl.com. Please include your opsCTRL username (email) in the request.
Document Storage
Notwithstanding the above, inCTRL Solutions will not intentionally access videos, images, documentation, or schedules uploaded to the Application that are not associated with equipment manufactured by inCTRL Solutions, its affiliates, or subsidiaries. inCTRL Solutions has contracted with a third party company, “Biztech Consultancy,” to host those documents separate from the materials related to inCTRL Solutions equipment. It is the responsibility of the users of the Application to ensure they follow proper protocols and regulations regarding sharing of their drawings and documents.
Data Monitoring
Data gathered from the eWon devices will be stored on inCTRL Solutions’s cloud hosted servers. inCTRL Solutions can provide separate documentation for how the data is gathered. Only internal employees and users authorized by the admin user will have access to this data.
Changes to this Privacy Policy
If we update this Privacy Policy, we will notify your account contact and post the new Privacy Policy on this page.
